COLUMBUS – Columbus Recreation and Parks Department is a month away from hosting Columbus’ 42nd annual Jazz & Rib Fest, which draws more than 200,000 people to the Scioto Mile in downtown Columbus. Jazz & Rib offers a diverse line-up of artists for all audiences to enjoy for free, and it will be held July 21-23.
“Jazz & Rib Fest is the premier festival of the summer in downtown Columbus,” said Bernita A. Reese, M.S., CPRP, director of Columbus Recreation and Parks Department. “This is going to be a fantastic festival with some outstanding artists and delicious ribs along the Scioto Mile. You will definitely not want to miss this event!”

Festival Information
All festival beverage booths are cashless this year. Major credit cards and mobile pay will be accepted for purchasing water, soft drinks, wine, cocktails and Jackie O’s beer, the official beer of Jazz & Rib Fest. Recycling will also return to Jazz & Rib Fest this year.
Performances at Jazz & Rib Fest
Headlining performances will be held on the West Bank Park Stage, and they include:
- Friday, July 21: Maysa – 6:30-8 p.m. and Chris Botti – 9-10:30 p.m.
- Saturday, July 22: The Soul Rebels – 6:30-8 p.m. and Stephanie Mills – 9-10:30 p.m.
- Sunday, July 23: Norman Brown – 4-5:30 p.m. and Arturo Sandoval – 6:30-8 p.m.
