COLUMBUS – Columbus Recreation and Parks Department announced today that, for the first time, it will offer media credentials to Jazz & Rib Fest’s headlining performance on Saturday evening.

To apply, media members interested in receiving credentials must complete an online credential application by Monday, July 15, at 12 p.m.

The credential will grant media members escorted access to the front of the West Bank Park Stage presented by ABC 6 and FOX 28 during a portion of Musiq Soulchild’s performance, beginning at 9 p.m.

Late credential applications will not be accepted, and all applications must include contact information for a supervising editor. Although applying for credentials does not guarantee credentials will be approved, everyone is welcome to take photos of the event from any public area.

Jazz & Rib Fest returns July 19-21 along the Scioto Mile downtown riverfront. The music and BBQ festival will feature over 40 performers, 17 BBQ vendors and more than 25 alternatives to BBQ, including vegetarian and vegan options.
